After a housefire accident in in 2004, I had a very humbling realization and experience. I lost all my possessions and moved to Bangladesh for a year while our Florida home was being rebuilt. Even though I had nothing at the time, some native Bangladeshis had even less. The temporary stay in Bangladesh has made me feel blessed for all that I have.

I began working with OBAC in 2022. OBAC is developing projects to help impoverished families and women entrepreneurs receive support to build financial success. My involvement includes administrative work and fundraising planning for 2023. Through these projects, I am able to use my experience from previous service organizations and leadership roles to help lead my own mission for assistance in Bangladesh within the upcoming year.
